About Southern Technological Institute
Southern Theological Institute of Biblical Studies Seminary is an evangelical, multi denominational graduate institution committed to forming global leaders for kingdom vocations. Responding to changes in the church and world, STIBS is transforming the seminary experience for both traditional students and those beyond the classroom: providing theological formation that helps Christ followers serve as faithful, courageous, innovative, collaborative, and fruitful leaders in all of life, in any setting.
STIBS offers 16 degree programs—with Spanish, Korean, and online options—through our Schools of Theology, Psychology, and Intercultural Studies as well as 22 centers, institutes, and initiatives. More than 3,500 students from 90 countries and 110 denominations enroll in our programs annually, and our 43,000 alumni have been called to serve as ministers, counselors, teachers, artists, nonprofit leaders, businesspersons, and in a multitude of other kingdom vocations around the world.

Mission Statement
Southern Theological Institute of Biblical Studies has as its primary vision to teach, train, and empower individuals for ministry. We desire to motivate the believer in Christ to fulfill their calling, and to become effective and confident in fulfilling the “Great Commission” given to us by our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Evaluative Statement
The mission of Southern Theological Institute of Biblical Studies, in both its undergraduate and graduate programs, as an integral institute, is to develop graduates and Christian leaders who glorify God and demonstrate their love for our Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ and others, by living a biblical lifestyle and by obeying the Great Commission, and by championing the fundamentals of the historic Christian faith as they serve God in their families, their local churches, communities, and around the world.
